And it cannot create something out of nothing the way God can. Rather the creature, according to its nature and abilities, must act upon something in order to make or form anything. And since the physical universe is part of creation, it also participates in these properties. Like a painter, the Creator gave form and substance to his ideas. And therefore, the creation reflects something of the Creator and shows forth his purpose. We see his mind in it. The recent discoveries in astronomy of thousands
